College of DuPage Expands Partnership with ESM
Illinois Community College to automate all spend management processes
College of DuPage will renew and expand its spend management automation capabilities with ESM’s full solutions suite, which will integrate with its ERP, Ellucian Colleague via Ellucian Ethos.
Based in Glen Ellyn, Ill., College of DuPage is the second largest provider of undergraduate education in Illinois, serves more than 30,000 students a year.
COD automated procurement years ago with ESM’s procurement system. And this year, after an extensive search for the best procure-to-pay provider, COD leaders selected ESM again and will upgrade its spend management automation with all of ESM’s solutions.
Covering all its procure-to-pay bases
COD will implement ESM’s full procure-to-pay platform, taking advantage of applications that allow it to eliminate manual processes and uncover money and time-saving efficiencies. At the same time, COD can benefit from ESM’s robust analytics, so it can track where spend goes and how to better manage it with comprehensive and customizable reports. All of the solutions will be integrated with COD’s Ellucian Colleague Financial system via ESM and Ellucian’s co-developed API’s for Ethos.
ESM’s full suite is comprised of:
A bidding and solicitation solution that allows users to configure bids, RFPs, tenders and other sourcing events in an online portal that provides a collaborative marketplace, intuitive bidding, and improved supplier relations.
A procurement automation tool that includes an easy-to-use online shopping solution that features only an organization’s negotiated contracts and approved vendors and covers all procurement activities from start to finish.
A flexible contract management solution that enhances an institution’s existing workflows which allows for speedy deployment and eliminates bottlenecks with a fully searchable online platform.
A full-service supplier management solution that makes it possible to offload tasks like data entry and increase opportunity for suppliers with pre-configured templates for supplier registration, supplier activation, and other processes.
“Higher education institutions and other organizations who have deployed our entire procure-to-pay suite have enjoyed tremendous savings and performance enhancements,” ESM CEO Anthony Rotoli said. “We look forward to updating and upgrading College of DuPage as it commits to automating all of its spend management practices.”
