Robert Morris University to control contracts with ESM
ESM’s contract management platform provides automation, transparency
Robert Morris University will deploy ESM’s end-to-end contract management platform to automate its processes and gain new ways to search and track contracts and predict future needs.
The private university in suburban Pittsburgh, which serves more than 5,300 students across 80 undergraduate and graduate programs, has signed on with ESM to launch the platform.
Like many small institutions, Robert Morris’ contract management systems relied on emails and an onsite server, but didn’t provide the organization and transparency that its leaders required.
Now, Robert Morris can fully automate its processes and take advantage of a variety of features, including:
- A fully searchable and robust repository that makes it easy to search and find any contract, clause or attached files.
- An online and organized platform where all drafts and existing contracts are monitored and stored from creation, amendment and renewal to archive.
- Automated alerts that give users advanced notice that a contract needs attention and lets them avoid unintended renewals and expirations.
- Reporting capabilities that allow users to forecast the upcoming workload for the contracts team.
Robert Morris will get single sign-on capability, digital signatures through DocuSign and secure file transfer protocol. The flexible tool also allows Robert Morris to configure the solution to its specific workflows and needs.
Robert Morris is one of many smaller institutions to deploy ESM’s spend management solutions and uncover new ways to save time and money.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Robert Morris to the ESM fold and are excited to see the new efficiencies that they discover while using our solution,” ESM CEO Anthony Rotoli said.
